Bridging the gap between research, policy and practice
Two of Bulletin Academic’s consultants, Chris O’Brien and Wendy Fitzsimmons, are speaking at the ‘Bridging the Gap’ conference being held at RIBA’s London office on Wednesday December 7th. The conference will focus particularly on knowledge brokerage in the social sciences, although many of the sessions will hold relevance to research engagement across all subject areas.
Organised by the ESRC Genomics Policy & Research Forum, the event will highlight different topics including:
- Impact and Evaluation
- Knowledge Relationships and Transformation
- Active Intermediaries/NHS Research Networks
- Do we need brokers?
- Research in Practice

If you’re interested in attending, please note there are only a few tickets left.
If you’re already visiting the conference and have any questions that you’d like to ask Chris or Wendy while you’re there, do drop a line to us and we’ll arrange a chat during one of the breaks or at the drinks reception at the end.
