Impact workshops

One of the most positive ways of embedding impact into faculties and departments is to enhance the academics’ understanding of what impact means, how it can be incorporated into their research, what support there is available to help them do this and what the potential benefits to themselves as individuals might be.

To help with this issue we have developed impact workshops which are a strong combination of illustrating impact through practical examples and then working with academics to come up with ideas for their own research areas. We are happy to tailor these workshops to cover specific needs and timeframes depending on the requirements of the particular institution/ faculty/ department.

We’ve had excellent feedback from academics who felt, after working with us, that creating engagement and impact was more achievable as the process was broken down into manageable size chunks and informal enough for the generation of lots of ideas.
